Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building, industrial systems, vehicles, and grounds.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license are required; prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to keep facilities up to standard.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems to ensure operation within design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work tasks.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
