Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on facilities, industrial systems, vehicles, and grounds. The role supports the Engineering and Technical Services function, delivering reliable operations and proactive care for building systems.

Key duties include reviewing work orders, planning repairs, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards, while applying deep knowledge to provide innovative solutions and coach colleagues.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of job-related experience or equivalent in role.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads (50 lbs+).
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems as assigned.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance.
• Ensure inspections and operations meet design specs and environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the function.
