Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. You’ll support, perform preventive maintenance, and repair activities as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

The role involves overseeing compliance, inspections and maintaining operations to meet client requirements and safety standards within CBRE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility to keep systems up to standards.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time/materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and manage emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation meets design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, gov’t agencies, and company safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles and apply knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
