Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

You will oversee mechanical, plumbing, life-safety, HVAC and control systems; review work orders; implement preventive maintenance; ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. A hands-on, safety-driven mindset is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to exercise judgment from multiple information sources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, life-safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and handle emergencies.
• Review inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure design conditions and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to perform complex tasks and provide solutions.
• Coach colleagues and share knowledge across related disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values in teamwork.
• Impact activities across customer, operations, and project teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and clearly explain complex information.
