Job summary

LiftOne is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair loading dock doors and related equipment. The role includes preventative maintenance on customer equipment and managing paperwork upon job completion.

You will operate a company van and maintain parts inventory, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and customer service. Training and certifications will be supported where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be a certified welder or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Welder apprenticeship level completed or 3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations written in local languages.
• Ability to perform duties at elevated heights.
• Demonstrates ability to repair equipment per skill level.
• Basic computer/tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple OS).
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify general problem based on customer concerns and locate the failure.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently and test equipment after service.
• Travel to customer sites and parts pickups to address on-site needs.
• Perform repairs with customer approval and conduct basic maintenance as needed.
• Process documentation after each job; ensure parts inventory is accurate.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Identify and order necessary replacement parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
