Job summary

LiftOne is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to diagnose and repair loading dock devices and doors. You will perform preventative maintenance and manage paperwork after each job, while maintaining the company van and inventory.

The role requires welding capability, safety-consciousness, and reliable transportation to various customer sites across the region. A strong customer-service mindset is essential and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred for entry-level welding roles.
• Welding certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• Welder apprentice level or 3 years welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify the general problem based on customer concern and test to locate the failure.
• Perform repairs and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Drive to customer sites and parts pickups to address on-site needs.
• Complete repairs with customer approval and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Document all parts, time, and repairs after each job.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Identify and order replacement parts as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
