Job summary

LiftOne is hiring a Dock and Door Road Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair loading dock and door systems on-site. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage van inventory and ensure proper paperwork is completed after each job.

You must be skilled in welding with a high school diploma and welding certification or three years of welding experience, plus a valid driver's license and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified welder or able to obtain certification within 30 days.
• Welder apprentice level or 3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in local language.

Responsibilities

• Identify general problems from customer concerns and locate the failure.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently and test equipment.
• Drive to customer sites and address on-site needs.
• Perform necessary repairs with customer approval and basic maintenance.
• Process documentation after each job and maintain parts inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
