Job summary

LiftOne is seeking experienced service technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain loading dock doors and related equipment. The role requires welding certification, ability to read regulations, and a customer-service focus.

You will operate company van, maintain inventory, and complete on-site service with safety as priority. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical training, welding experience, clean driving record, and comfort with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or technical school graduate preferred.
• Welder certification within the first 30 days of being hired.
• Successful completion of the welder apprentice level or three years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions written in the locally applicable language(s).
• Ability to perform duties at elevated heights.
• Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level.
• Basic computer/tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple operating systems).
• Valid driver licence and clean driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair loading dock and door equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment and document work.
• Operate company van and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Complete job paperwork accurately and on time.
• Repair parts ordering and invoicing as needed.
