Job summary

LiftOne is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain loading dock systems and doors. You will perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment and manage paperwork, including inventory for a company-owned service van.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork. Welding ability, a valid driver license, and willingness to travel to customer sites in the Charlotte area are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Welder certification within first 30 days of hire.
• Welder apprenticeship level or 3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations written in the local language(s).
• Valid driver license with clean driving record; customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and locate the general problem based on customer concerns and test for failure.
• Perform repairs safely and efficiently and verify equipment operates properly.
• Drive to customer locations and service sites as needed.
• Make repairs (with customer approval) and perform basic maintenance.
• Process paperwork upon job completion with accurate parts, labor and time documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Identify and order necessary replacement parts.
• Other duties may be assigned.
