Job summary

LiftOne is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair loading dock and door systems. You will perform preventative maintenance and manage van stock and inventory for on-site service.

The role requires welding certification or progress toward it, a valid driver license, and solid customer service skills. On-site work across customer locations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be certified welder or obtain certification within 30 days.
• Welder apprentice level or 3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read and follow safety regulations and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Identify general problem based on customer concern and test to locate failure.
• Perform repairs safely and efficiently, test equipment for proper operation.
• Travel to customer sites and parts pickups to address on-site needs.
• Make necessary repairs with customer approval and conduct basic maintenance.
• Document completion of each job, ensure parts accounted for and time tracked.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Identify and order replacement parts as needed.
