Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile environment. You’ll handle electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnostics, maintain the service truck, and coordinate with clients and management for approvals and parts.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, ASE certifications, and a valid DOT medical card, with additional training provided as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years in a related field or 5+ years alternative experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification required within 18 months.
• DOT medical card with sufficient validity; DOT physical if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect and repair trailers, including brakes, air lines, and liftgates.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain service truck and safety checks.
• Document work and findings using iOS TRAIT app and RO records.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals on estimates and POs.
