Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs for light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field environment.

You will work with a team to diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems, manage parts inventory, and document work using our TRAIT app. Prior DOT and ASE certifications are preferred, with safety training required.

Qualifications

• DOT/FMCSA safety knowledge and compliance.
• Ability to perform PM inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Proficient use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Inspect and test equipment, document findings and parts used on RO via mobile device.
