Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile field setting. You will document work on a company TRAIT app and manage parts with local vendors.

Ideal candidates are skilled with electrical, braking, cooling, diesel engines, and trailers, with ASE certs preferred and a valid license. Benefits include bonuses, safety gear, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience or equivalent.
• A set of hand tools is required for the role.
• ASE certification (T3–T7) preferred; DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment requirements and have 21+ years.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleets.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Repair trailers and heavy equipment as needed in the field.
• Document work on RO via TRAIT app and obtain PO numbers.
• Maintain service truck and coordinate with customers to meet needs.
