Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems and document findings on Repair Orders using the TRAIT app.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, 3 years in the field (or 5 years equivalent), ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid driver’s license with DOT compliance. Safety and reliability are prioritized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years related field experience (or 5 years alternative).
• Must obtain ASE T8 (Drivetrain) within 18 months.
• Valid DOT background check and DOT physical eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems.
• Document work with RO and upload photos using TRAIT app.
