Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and diagnostic work in a mobile/field setting. You will handle light to heavy repairs on trucks and trailers, with responsibilities spanning electrical, braking, engine, and hydraulic systems.

A strong emphasis on safety and documentation is required. The role includes maintaining the service truck, coordinating with clients, and meeting performance metrics under supervision.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• Must possess hand tools to perform duties.
• Obtain ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background and DOT physical.
• Valid state driver's license with 3-year MVR review.

Responsabilidades

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field setting.
• Repair electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, transmissions and related systems.
• Diagnose and repair trailer equipment and systems (brakes, air lines, liftgates).
• Document work and upload photos using TRAIT app and RO system.
• Maintain safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections of service vehicles.
