Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs on trucks and trailers in mobile/field environments. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and lead on-site repairs as the on-site consultant.

You will manage parts on the service truck, document findings using the TRAIT app, and ensure safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 3 years related experience.
• 3+ years experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Document work using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Coordinate parts and communicate repair estimates.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
