Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive service provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers, maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED with related field experience, ASE/DOT certifications, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience.
• DOT/FMCSA requirements compliance.
• A current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems in a mobile environment.
• Inspect and test equipment, road test to verify repairs, and document RO findings.
• Manage parts inventory and use TRAIT app to upload service details.
