Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work on light to heavy trucks, diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, and document work via company apps while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in related field, and a valid driver's license; ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in a related field preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated equipment is a plus.
• DOT/FMCSA and safety regulations familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and scheduled PM on light to heavy trucks in the field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Maintain service truck and documents RO details using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Ensure safety checks, pre/post-trip inspections, and DOT form completion.
