Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and drivetrain systems on trucks and trailers, with documentation via the TRAIT app.

The role requires 3+ years in related field, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to work independently with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or higher, plus relevant field experience.
• ASE certification T3–T8 preferred; DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge.
• Must possess and use hand tools; Diesel diagnostics and repairs performed in field/mobile setting.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair trailer components, including brakes, air lines, and liftgates.
• Test and road-check vehicles to verify repairs; document findings and parts used on RO via TRAIT app.
