Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and light to moderate repairs for trucks and trailers in a mobile/field setting. You will work under supervision to develop advanced diagnostics skills and meet performance metrics while following safety policies.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED (or higher) with related field experience; ASE certifications (T3–T7) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and related field experience.
• DOT/FMCSA/regulatory compliance knowledge or experience preferred.
• ASE certifications (T3–T7) are preferred.
• Must supply hand tools necessary to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on trucks and trailers in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document work performed and update RO using company TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
