Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, adjust, and repair truck and trailer systems, manage parts and service records, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in a related field, ASE/T8 certification preferred, and the ability to work in a fast-paced mobile environment with company-provided tools and a service truck.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years’ related field experience, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification preferred and encouraged within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect and service trailers and equipment, test and document findings on RO using iOS TRAIT app.
