Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II for on-site work across customer sites. Lead on jobsites, perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy trailers. Maintain safety and accuracy in documentation using our TRAIT app.

Role requires strong diagnostics, tool handling, and ability to work independently with a customer-focused approach. Includes new hire bonus and growth opportunities within the Cox Fleet network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; additional related training a plus.
• 5 years of related field experience or equivalent combination.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and safety standards.
• ASE T8 and ASE 608/609 certifications preferred or obtainable within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on trailers and equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair trailers, brakes, air lines, liftgates, and related systems.
• Manage parts inventory and document repairs using company TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety, comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
