Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and multi-system repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose advanced mechanical/electrical issues, manage parts on a service truck, and document findings using TRAIT on an iOS device.

The role emphasizes independent scheduling, safety compliance, and customer-facing duties in a nationwide service network with 24/7 support.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; additional related certifications are a plus.
• 3+ years in a related field; experience with refrigerated equipment preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory knowledge or training is expected or required.

Mansioni

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light to heavy vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling and engine systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts on the service truck and reconcile inventory.
• Document findings on RO using company iOS device and TRAIT app.
