Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex diagnostics in a mobile field setting. You will lead onsite diagnostics, service, and repair actions for trucks and trailers, while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires HVAC/diesel system know-how, tool proficiency, and the ability to manage parts and documentation on the TRAIT platform. A strong safety record and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience OR 5 years’ related experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• Must complete DOT background screening and DOT physical as part of employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems and other diesel equipment components.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose issues.
• Maintain service truck and document repairs via RO using TRAIT app.
• Obtain parts from authorized vendors and manage inventory.
