Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on trucks and trailers, manage parts and document work on a company app, and operate with safety and compliance at the forefront.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and ASE T8 certification within 18 months, with 3–5 years in a related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years of related field experience, or 5 years of related field experience.
• Possess ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Interstate commerce regulations require 21+ years of age and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PMs, and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Manage parts inventory and document work in the TRAIT app and Repair Orders.
