Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, diagnostics, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will work independently, manage a company-provided service truck, and document work on RO forms using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and 3 years in a related field (or 5 years of equivalent experience); DOT regulations compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field, or 5 years alternative experience.
• DOT compliance knowledge and ability to pass pre-employment DOT screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile/field units.
• Perform repairs on trucks and trailers including electrical, braking, cooling, drivetrain systems.
• Manage service truck inventory and document work via iOS TRAIT app.
