Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics in a mobile/field environment across our nationwide service network. You will execute light to heavy repairs, maintain equipment, and document findings using the TRAIT app on an iOS device.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED with 3 years in related field or 5 years of equivalent experience, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid DOT/driver qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience (or 5 years in related field).
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT/ FMCSA regulated pre-employment processes required.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, steering, and engine systems.
• Document work with photos and RO entries via TRAIT app on an iOS device.
• Maintain service truck and parts inventory; manage daily schedule independently.
