Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Tech II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on a mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and work under supervision of a Sr Tech.

The role requires travel and a flexible shift, with potential incentive programs. Applicants should have a HS diploma/GED with at least 3 years of related experience, ASE T8 certification preferred, and DOT compliance readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience; 5 years accepted.
• ASE T8 (Drivetrain) certification preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge and DOT medical card required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM inspections and DOT inspections on mobile/field units.
• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer systems, including electrical, brakes and engine components.
• Document work using TRAIT app and upload RO findings, parts used and photos.
