Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on a range of vehicle classes in a mobile/field setting. This role supports nationwide service delivery with a flexible work option and potential incentive programs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related experience, ASE certifications preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3–5 years’ related experience.
• DOT regulations and pre-employment screening required.
• DOT medical card and valid driver’s license required; ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine-related systems.
• Inspect, test, and document all work on RO using company tools and iOS devices.
