Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel And Trailer Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs on trucks in a mobile, remote-capable role. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and engine systems and document findings using the TRAIT app.

The position offers a remote work option within the USA, a 100% travel requirement, and an evening shift Wednesday to Saturday, 8 PM to 6 AM.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance are required.
• Ability to diagnose light to heavy-duty trucks in field/mobile settings.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on fleet vehicles in the field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brakes, cooling and engine systems.
• Manage parts and document work using TRAIT app and RO forms.
