Zusammenfassung

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field environment across the United States. You will diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems and document findings on repair orders via our TRAIT app.

The role requires ASE T8 PMI certification within 18 months, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently with strong communication

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience, or 5 years related field experience.
• Must supply a set of hand tools to perform duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required prior to employment.

Aufgaben

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and related truck systems.
• Inspect and test equipment, road test vehicles, and document findings on RO using TRAIT app.
• Independently manage parts inventory and service truck supplies; maintain safety checks and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with customers/management to obtain approvals and updates on repair estimates and RO findings.
