Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a field/mobile environment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, document work via an iOS device, and support customers with efficient service.

The role requires tool ownership, ASE certification within 18 months, a valid DOT card, and the ability to work independently with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulations and pre-employment screening.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical, braking, cooling systems and engine components.
• Test drive vehicles and document findings on Repair Orders using TRAIT app.
