Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, test vehicles, and document findings using the TRAIT iOS app.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ASE certification within 18 months, and the ability to work independently with strong time-management skills. Excellent compensation and company benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, engine and HVAC systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Document work and parts used on Repair Orders via TRAIT app on iOS.
• Manage parts inventory and daily scheduling with minimal supervision.
