Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to service and inspect heavy-duty trucks in a mobile environment. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs, diagnose electrical, fuel, and engine issues, and document findings in the TRAIT app.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer communication in a field-based setting. Qualified candidates have a HS diploma/GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and DOT background with valid CDL/driver's license.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• Obtain ASE certification T8 (PMI) within eighteen months.
• DOT pre-employment background screen and physical exam per FMCSA requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and able to meet DOT driving requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test and road-check vehicles to confirm proper operation.
• Document work and parts used in Repair Orders via iOS TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with management for repair estimates and approvals.
