Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light to heavy-duty repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems while upholding safety standards.

Role includes managing parts on the service truck, documenting RO via TRAIT on iOS, and completing DOT forms promptly. Requires 21+ and valid license; ASE T8 within 18 months. Competitive benefits and weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related field experience, or 5 years related experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• AUTO ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance; pass pre-employment and DOT physical.
• DOT medical card acceptable if >4 months remain; else DOT physical required.
• Must be 21+ due to interstate commerce.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DQF.

Responsabilités

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect and test equipment, use diagnostic tools and handheld devices.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Document findings on Repair Orders (RO) via TRAIT on iOS.
• Complete DOT forms accurately and promptly.
• Manage parts inventory and daily scheduling on service truck.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and DOT safety policies.
