Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile field setting. You will diagnose, repair, and test truck systems, maintaining documentation on RO via TRAIT app.

At least HS diploma or GED with tools and ASE/T8 certification within 18 months, plus DOT compliance and a valid license. Excellent benefits and a defined career path are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience (or 5 years in related field).
• Own set of hand tools to perform required duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification obtained within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engines, and transmissions.
