Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair and test systems, manage a service truck, and document findings using TRAIT on an iOS device.

The role requires hands-on tools, safety compliance, and the ability to work independently within allocated schedules. Weekly pay and training benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience; alternative combos acceptable.
• ASE T8 PMI certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair truck equipment and systems.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain and operate service vehicle and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Document RO details via TRAIT app and upload photos.
