Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, while maintaining the service truck and adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have ASE-related certifications and the ability to manage parts and documentation through the TRAIT app, with strong communication to customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Licensure or certification in diesel diagnostics and maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret DOT regulations and service manuals.
• Demonstrated safety consciousness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on diesel vehicles.
• Document work, upload RO photos, and manage parts on the TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck and comply with DOT/FMCSA safety standards.
