Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will document work on Repair Orders via an iOS device and work with a team to meet service expectations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience or ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

DOT inspections and PM inspections are required.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, braking, and engine systems.
Willingness to learn and obtain ASE T8 certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on trucks in mobile/field settings.
Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical and mechanical components on light–heavy-duty vehicles.
Document findings and parts used on Repair Orders via iOS device.
