Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Ocala, FL. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting, with duties covering electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.

You will document work using our TRAIT app, manage parts on the service truck, and adhere to DOT and safety guidelines while reporting to a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician. The role offers growth and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field or 5 years experience.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT regulatory compliance and safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile/field environment.
• Perform light/follow-up repairs and diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose equipment using handheld tools and diagnostic devices.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Manage parts inventory on the service truck and document work in RO using TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms accurately and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
