Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on a mobile/field basis. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, engine, and transmission systems, test and road test vehicles, and document findings via iOS devices and TRAIT app.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and ASE T8 certification with eligibility for DOT-based screenings; company offers weekly pay, safety gear reimbursement,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and related experience or equivalent training.
• Able to perform DOT inspections and PMs in the field.
• Proficient in diagnosing truck electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain and manage inventory and RO documentation using company tools.
