Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, brakes, cooling, engines, and transmissions, while maintaining documentation on RO forms and upholding safety standards. Position requires independent work and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience accepted.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months or existing.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance knowledge and ability to pass DOT screening.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be at least 21.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and repairs on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document work and upload RO data using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck and safety inspections.
