Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Ocala, FL. The role focuses on performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting.

You will diagnose issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety checks are completed with company TRAIT app documentation. Ideal candidates have HS diploma or GED with 3+ years in related field; ASE T8 certification within 18 months and a valid DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; ASE T8 within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA rules compliance and DOT medical card expectations.
• Must possess and maintain own set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on mobile/field units.
• Diagnose and repair light to heavy duty vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and inspect systems for faults.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck; document RO.
• Complete DOT forms and maintain safety compliance.
