Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II for a 2nd shift (2 PM–12 AM) with weekend coverage. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-medium repairs on various trucks and trailers, often in mobile/field settings.

You’ll document work, manage parts, and ensure safety standards are met. The role requires technical proficiency, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with customers and internal teams.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months or equivalent DOT/FMCSA training preferred.
• Candidate must have valid driver’s license and DOT regulatory knowledge or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium and heavy vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck equipment with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate documentation and upload RO details using company devices.
• Coordinate with customers and management to obtain approvals for repairs.
