Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on light to heavy-duty trucks and manage parts on the service truck with adherence to safety policies.

Successful candidates will have HS diploma/GED, ASE T8 within 18 months, and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with related field experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screen and DOT physical.
• DOT medical card or valid DOT exam timeline.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and drivetrain systems on trucks.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and functionality.
• Manage parts inventory and document work using company systems.
• Adhere to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety policies.
