Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and diagnostics in a mobile/field setting nationwide. You will handle light to heavy repairs, use specialized equipment, and document work using the TRAIT app.

A new hire bonus and weekly pay are offered, with emphasis on safety and quality service. The role requires a HS diploma/GED, ASE readiness, and DOT compliance; strong problem-solving and independent scheduling are valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months of hire.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, ASE certifications and DOT medical card as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems with appropriate tools.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation after service.
• Document all work and parts used in the Repair Orders via company app.
• Coordinate with management for repair estimates and approvals as needed.
