Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II for on-site work performing DOT inspections and Preventative Maintenance on trailers and equipment. You will handle minor repairs such as brakes, air lines, pumps, and engine components at customer sites, with supervision for advanced tasks.

You will document findings, manage parts, and follow safety procedures while meeting productivity targets and adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus related experience.
• Knowledge of trailer parts, systems, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and follow DOT forms and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers/equipment.
• Document work using RO systems and upload photos.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain service vehicle and manage parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety policies and work independently as needed.
