Job summary

Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, provides on-site mobile maintenance and repair services for trucks and trailers across the country. The Mobile Diesel Technician II performs DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs in a mobile environment, with ongoing opportunities to advance under supervision.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, DOT compliance, and a valid driver’s license. Weekly pay, uniforms, training, and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with mobile/onsite fleet maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Familiarity with DOT inspections and PMI procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and drivability.
• Document work performed and parts used in Repair Orders via TRAIT app.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT regulations.
