Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, maintain the service vehicle, and document findings using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Candidates should have a HS diploma/GED and 3 years in the field; ASE T8 PMI certification within 18 months is preferred. DOT regulations knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 3 years in a related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulations compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium, and heavy vehicles in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems in trucks.
• Maintain service truck and document RO using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Communicate with management for approvals and parts ordering.
