Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics in a mobile/field setting across the fleet. The role includes working with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, documenting work on RO via the TRAIT app, and maintaining the service truck and safety checks.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma/GED with 3–5 years in related field, tools, and ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience, or 5 years' equivalent experience.
• Must possess a set of hand tools to perform required duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Document work with RO and upload photos via TRAIT app.
